This notice explains what data the microext browser extensions and this website handle.

Data that stays on your device

The Extensions process the pages, images, cookies and site data you work with locally in your browser. This data is never sent to our servers.

Data we collect for Pro plans

• An anonymous install ID: a random code the Extension creates when you first open its Pro page. It links your browser to your purchase, and the Extension sends it to microext.com only to check whether Pro is active. It contains no personal or browsing data.
• Your email address, which you enter at checkout. We use it to link your purchase and to send you a code when you restore Pro on another browser.
• Your plan and its status (active, cancelled, expired).

Payments

Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment details and billing address at checkout and processes them under its own privacy notice. We never see your card number.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts this website and our subscription records. Resend delivers the restore codes we email to you. They process data only on our behalf.

Abuse protection

To stop code guessing and spam, we count restore code requests per email address and per IP address, and checkout page statistics per IP address. We keep only these counters, not a log of your visits.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Restore codes expire after 15 minutes and are deleted. You can ask us to delete your install ID and email at any time; Pro will then stop working in that browser until you restore it.

How we use it

Only to provide the paid features, answer support requests and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
